Constellations

PRAISE

It would be difficult for me to describe the depth and degree of healing release I experienced during the family constellation work I did with Amy. In a very powerful and palpable way I was able to grieve and let go of a wedge of sorrow I wasn't even aware I was carrying. This experience, held with such care, safety and skillful attention to what was needed to gently and profoundly move forward, has greatly lightened my load and my heart. All this has brought greater freedom to me in my way of being in the world. I am so grateful. - Keri

I have done much healing through various modalities in my life, so when I first attended Family Constellation's with Amy, I was not certain what it could offer me. Now, I feel that this work I have done with Amy and the group has helped to open up greater possibilities for letting go of the obstacles that stand in the way of a richer and more fulfilling life, and has created a wonderful sense of community and brought home the knowledge that we are all in this together. - Samuel

I have been involved with doing Family Constellations facilitated by Amy with a small group for the past few years. I continue to be amazed at how healing and transformative this work can be for all participants. As someone who has had a Constellation done, I have had the opportunity to work one on one with Amy. Her pointed questions helped me hone in on what was going on for me at this time in my life. Watching the constellation unfold later in the group was magical. I was given a new perspective on my situation and felt the energetic shift pretty quickly preceeding it. Amy's keen intuition and gentle manner has helped create a safe container for our community to walk through some powerful healing and shifts. I highly recommend working with Amy and experiencing family constellations. The therapeutic benefits for me have far outweighed the conventional talk therapy route. - Christine

Constellations

Get your Grandmother's pain out of your bones.

Just as the human body contains the innate ability to heal itself, so does the family system. And just as symptoms and conditions can arise in the body from events that happened years ago, so can issues with health, emotions, relationships, and money crop up in our lives from events that happened in the family way in the past  -- even from events in the generations before we were born. We call such challenges entanglements.

In Family Constellations, the sources of these problems may be found and resolved, allowing not only oneself, but also one’s family, to be free of these entanglements. Coming to a Family Constellation is like giving a gift to yourself that enriches your life and the lives of those you love.

When we are entangled with unhappiness and trauma from the past, we can find ourselves suffering with a former family member’s feelings of anger, guilt, fear, anxiety, depression, chronic illnesses, or unfulfilled relationships. It’s a common theme in families: sad mother, sad daughter; alcoholic father, alcoholic son. The relationship difficulties of the parents are quite often mirrored by the children.

Collective Constellations

I also work with what I call Collective Constellations. Most Constellations focus on personal and familial healing, which is stupendously potent. I have also started working with using the Constellation form to work with collective energies that, in my impression, also want our love and attention. These same themes could be found in any number of family systems, but we do not need a particular family system to engage with them - a social movement, the work and care of a non-profit, a protest, a place, a body of water, a business or even just a current fervor of focus or care of a population can be an organizing enough force to enable a Constellation to take form. This work can be incredibly powerful.
